If they had just told us that they had issues and given everyone a letter stating so for insurance purposes, it would have been a lot better other than just lying, talking to us abruptly or even ignoring us. There were all sorts of excuses, traffic jams, road works, etc. a guy then turned up absolutely fuming that it had cost him 80Euros and he had missed his flight due to the taxi not turning up. an hr later, people started chanting "We go home Monday" (it was Friday) so discovered some had been there for up to 3 hours! I asked on reception what was happening, from what I gathered, no one was coming. they didn't quite mention where from though.

We were told the taxi driver was on his way. My partner booked a private taxi for around £18.
We arrived at Palma airport to discover a long queue but assumed this was down to them being reasonable and popular - in my opinion a good sign. The transfers were £16 each the taxi only cost 19 Euro.If your going to El Arenal just forget the transfer and get a taxi, less stress and less money The taxi arrived and took us to the airport and i was still on hold by the time we arrived so i hung up !!!! Thank fully we had no hold luggage and just caught check in. In the mean time my husband and reception thought it wise to call a taxi. I called it and was on hold for 15 mins, a female answered and i explained we still had not been picked up. We went into reception who tried to call their "emergency " number, no reply. pick up was at 7.50pm and we should wait outside the hotel 15 mins prior to this.well at 8.30 still no pick up. No problem, we called and it was all sorted. However we noticed a sign saying they were closed on a sat and sunday so we called on the Friday to confirm and get the time. we were told to call the day before departure to confirm our transfer and time. Only a couple of other people there waiting. Arrived at Mallorca airport, all on time, went to the Mallorca Coaches, Hoppa desk. This was our first time using resorthoppa and it will also be the last!!! Save yourself the hassle and money and book a private transfer or through Thomas Cook.Booked our holiday through travel republic, normally hire a car but as it was only 4 days we went with the transfer option. If you are thinking of booking with Resorthoppa, don't bother.

It was unreasonable to expect us to ask every single coach that came along if it was our pickup especially if all the other drivers call out names on their lists. The driver clearly didn't check the list of passengers. If the driver did pick up the another passengers it made me wonder why he didn't bother checking that he should also be picking up another two adults and one infant on his list from the same hotel (whom were standing right in front of him!!!). Due to this there will be no refund from us on this occasion. There were other clients collected at the same time and place as these clients (please see below bus list). We have therefore contacted the transfer provider for their report on the matter and they have responded and advised us as follows This was their response:Īs you should be aware we act as an agent on behalf of the transfer provider with regards to the sale of their services. Upon return, we wrote to resorthoppa and explained the whole situation. By then we had to make the decision to call a taxi otherwise miss our flight completely. He also looked up their own hotel directory for resorthoppa but still couldn't get through to anyone. He tried calling a few times but the number was incorrect. We waited outside our hotel from 6.50am and by 7.30am and still no sight of our transfer (the booking form stated that you have to wait at least 20mins after pickup time before they can investigate) the hotel receptionist called the emergency number on the booking form. On our return journey, we confirmed a day before that our pickup time was going to be 7.10am. We booked a return shared transfer for two adults and one infant from Palma de Majorca airport to Alcudia last monthr. I have never posted any review before but I felt so compelled that I had to let people know of our experience with Resorthoppa.
